Jab Tak Hain Jaan...

Saans me teri saans mili toh...
Mujhe saans aayi, Mujhe saans aayi...

 -Jab Tak Hain Jaan

Do the deep feelings and love shown in such movies really exist... or is it extinct and whatever remains is pure fiction and fantasy?...

Song: Aap ki Nazron Ne Samjha; Movie: Anpadh (1962)

A song so beautiful that defies explanation in plain words....
May such deep feelings never go obsolete...

"Aap ki nazron ne samjha pyaar ke kaabil mujhe
(Your eyes have understood me to be deserving of love)

Dil ki ae dhadkan thaher jaa, mil gayi manzil mujhe
(Stop, oh my heartbeat, I have found my destination)..."

Ask for???

I asked God for...
1) the freedom of being a grown-up, and He showed me how responsibilties feel like...
2) the taste of spending money freely, and He showed me how debts look like...
3) the feel of being in Love, and He showed me how heart-break feels like...

Dear God, if You are reading... We are having some obvious communication gaps and we need to talk !!!

Q&A

Over the years I had so many puzzling questions and heard equally puzzling answers...
The questions came a little early and answers late and even when they did arrive didn't make much sense.
Looking back, i realise that there were no wrong questions and no right answers...
And in fact its the Silence in between and beyond that made me who I am...

Lyrics: Song: Kahin-To; Movie: Jaane-Tu-Ya-Jaane-Na

"Clinging, I shall die of boredom...."
This line is what i think whenever i think of job here in IT.
The money ... the experience.. the people i've met.. the changes in me.. all were good.
IT has given me more i could have asked for and am thankful for everything received.

But time is up now.
Time to move on....

May i be blessed to be strong enough to deliver my best till the time i resign here...

Mission Marriage

"When the bride is ready, the groom arrives"
...teacher student quote in the matrimonial context.

My Groom nowhere in sight, so maybe there's something i need to learn.. maybe am not ready yet...

i enjoy being single. but there are times like this when marriage feels like a solution, a gateway to eternal freedom n bliss.

When i think of lifestyle change for instance.
Am sure i'll quit working in IT once am Mrs.Soulmate... and i can't wait for that day to arrive. no, not exactly the wedding day, but the day i'll submit resignation once and for all....

Anyways, max a year n single or not, am gonna change my FB status to married ;-P

Feeling sleepy. bye for now.

A writer lives life so he can write about it.

MyThoughts-CastAway

Watched this movie a couple of days back.
Nice movie.
Hero, lost to the world, alone in an island. With a football(?) to keep company-Wilson(?).
Wilson must have kept him alive, as talking to him gives him new ideas about surviving in that place. I wonder why there were no animals at all. Animals/Birds would have made a better companion under such conditions.
During the final escape from the place, he loses his companion. And on return to his place, realises that he lost his girlfriend too.
I still feel losing the football was more painful than losing the girlfriend :D
The two part on good terms and at the movie end he's shown looking in the direction of a different woman.

My thoughts:
Well, all's well that ends well.
He came out a better man for the experience. and after all the changes he has faced, the old relation may not be practical anymore.
The isolation of the island and the house of the new woman in his life truly matches.
And the person he became calls for that kind of woman in his life.
Life rocks.

Moral:
When the going gets tough, just keep breathing. The tide will come in, sooner or later.

Time flies...

How time flies.
These days its like kind of sleep-walking, sleep-working, whole day....
Am working but not totally there...
Just want out of this regular job, but don't know where to go..
(Picture a lady in desert with just sand and space all around...)
There must be more to life than just earning a living...
